Head Coach - Rachael NOLAN

Coach Nolan will be starting her second year at South Forsyth High School as a math educator and her first year as the Head Coach of the Girls Lacrosse Program. She has a decade of experience from Winder-Barrow High School (7 years) and Apalachee High School (3 years). On the field, she played defense for Harrison High School, where her team reached the state playoffs in both 2010 and 2011. In her senior season, the team went undefeated in Region AAAAA Area 1 play, earning the championship title with a 6-0 record. The previous year, they were runners-up with a 5-1 record. Her commitment to excellence both athletically and academically earned her the Wendy’s Heisman recognition at Harrison in 2011.

Coach Nolan helped launch the Oconee Knights Girls' Lacrosse program and coached for two years, contributing to the development of the girls’ team at North Oconee High School. She is passionate about building a supportive and empowering team culture, where each athlete feels valued, challenged, and inspired to grow both on and off the field.

Her coaching philosophy centers on developing well-rounded athletes by fostering resilience, teamwork, and character. She believes that every player has the potential to make a positive impact—not just during games, but in their communities, their classrooms, and their relationships. Her goal is to help athletes find confidence in their unique strengths and joy in shared success.

This year, Coach Nolan will be joined by Jasper, her certified therapy dog, who will be a comforting and cheerful presence at school and lacrosse practices—always ready with a tail wag and some emotional support for the team

Varsity ASSISTANT COACH - Reilly duerk

Coach Reilly is entering her 4th season as a JV and Varsity Assistant coach at South. Reilly moved to Georgia in 2014 and spent one year playing for the Longhorn Youth Lacrosse program. She was a 4 year member of the Lambert Lacrosse team from 2014-2018 advancing to the state final four in 2017.

While at Lambert, she earned the Coaches Award in 2016 and was an All County, Region, and All State defense selection in 2017.  She was named Captain for the 2018 season.

In her college years, Reilly enjoyed coaching with Foco Storm, Mt. Pisgah, Kings Ridge, and Georgia Outlaws. In addition she coached fall ball for Chattahoochee High School.

Reilly is thankful to be coaching at South Forsyth with all the familiar faces and is excited to see what is to come for the team this season!

JV HEAD COACH - Brittany Cullip

Coach Cullip is from Washington State and began her teaching career in Hawaii, where she lived and taught for two years. She is in her second year at South Forsyth High School teaching English Language Arts and is excited to have the opportunity to work with an incredible group of students both in the classroom and on the field.

In addition to teaching at South, Coach Cullip is proud to serve as the Head Coach of the Girls Flag Football program. This year, she will join the Girls Lacrosse Program as the JV Head Coach. She looks forward to being a part of  the program to help continue building a positive, competitive, and supportive culture. Her goal is to help our student-athletes grow not only as players but also as confident, resilient young women.

Coach Cullip is eager to work with our athletes and their families and to help make this a rewarding and memorable season both on and off the field!
